Short Bio
Haleh Mohammadian is a Ph.D. student in computer science under supervision of Prof. Julian Panetta at the University of California, Davis, with a focus on physics-based simulation and digital fabrication in computer graphics. Her research aims to develop algorithms for customizing designs and creating physical prototypes using digital fabrication technologies, with the goal of improving the manufacturing industry and advancing biomedical engineering applications. By solving complex mechanical and physical simulations, Haleh's work contributes to the advancement of digital fabrication across various industries.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Haleh has a diverse range of hobbies and interests. She enjoys reading Persian poetry, and often spends her free time exploring nature. When she's not in front of her laptop, she can be found swimming in the pool or hiking in the great outdoors.
